Ammar Nazarali  LCDC, LMSW


Ammar is a Licensed Master Social Worker/Therapist. He earned his MSW degree at The University of Texas at Arlington. Ammar has several years of experience providing holistic, client-centered care to adults and adolescents with various emotional, physical, and mental health related disorders. He is working closely under the supervision of the Think Tank Treatment team to provide counseling for clients while continuing to work towards his clinical social work license (LCSW).  

Ammar is passionate about helping empower people to become the best versions of themselves and understands this path can look different for everyone. He is skilled in utilizing an eclectic approach to therapy, tailored to meet each client’s individual needs/goals and grounded in their individual strengths. The method incorporates various intervention modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing, and a Solution-Focused approach. Ammar emphasizes holding a non-judgmental empathetic environment that invites warmth, compassion, openness, trust, and safety on the journey to growth and healing.
