Amy (pronouns: she/her/hers) has been working in the behavioral health field since 2015 in residential, outpatient and virtual treatment settings.  She received her Master of Science degree in Rehabilitation Counseling from the University of North Texas.  She is a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor, Licensed Professional Counselor Associate and Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor.  Amy is fiercely dedicated to collaborating with clients in uncovering their favorite versions of themselves, developing insight, self-awareness and a sense of empowerment through the healing power of connection, belonging, self-compassion and authenticity.   

Amy works with adults in addressing areas including LGBTQ+ affirming care, gender identity, anxiety, depression, self-esteem/confidence, codependency, alcohol and substance use issues, pet loss and grief, artist and creatives issues, life transitions and career/school issues.  Amy uses a person-centered, integrated approach incorporating a holistic perspective, uniquely crafted for each client’s individual needs and goals.  She employs techniques that include cognitive behavioral, reality and feminist therapies as well as postmodern and mindfulness approaches.
