Dinah is a Marriage and Family Therapist Associate, specializing in working with diverse populations and cultures, couples, individuals, families (specifically mother/daughter), individuals facing end of life of self or a loved one, and women’s unique life experiences including challenges with fertility and loss. She received her Master of Science in Counseling from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, focusing on Marriage and Family Therapy, Play Therapy and Grief Counseling. When appropriate, Dinah integrates Art and Expressive Therapies to facilitate the healing process with her clients.
Dinah has recently extensively traveled and worked as a Crisis Counselor in New York City and ran women’s creative therapeutic groups in Los Angeles before moving back to Dallas. Her therapeutic approach is holistic: combining Depth Psychology, Humanistic approaches, Cognitive Behavioral Therapies, and systems theory when appropriate. Dinah is also well-versed with different spiritual and religious philosophies and can support one in their spiritual discovery for purpose and meaning.
Lastly, Dinah is an accomplished artist and Certified Clinical Aromatherapist. She integrates art, aromatherapy, and expressive therapies in sessions when appropriate. Dinah is an attentive and compassionate therapist, who meets clients where they are at and considers it an honor to be supporting others on this journey.
